Jacobs sustained a left knee injury at the end of his only play in the 49ers' 20-9 exhibition loss to the Houston Texans on Saturday.
Coach Jim Harbaugh revealed after the game that Jacobs did not sustain any damage to his anterior cruciate ligament or patella. Jacobs signed a one-year contract with the 49ers in the offseason.
