After shooting a 9-under 61 in Round 2 from Pebble Beach on Friday, 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and his professional partner Ryan Moore are tied for 26th in the Pro-Am.

"We have to go low again tomorrow so we'll see," Harbaugh said about potentially making the cut. "I'm just enjoying it."

Meanwhile, Giants pitcher Matt Cain and his partner Matt Bettencourt shot a 5-under 65 and find themselves tied for 66th place.

"We want to play on Sunday," Cain said.

On the professional side, Cal graduate Charlie Wi sits atop the leaderboard after shooting a 69 Friday. He is at 12-under for the tournament, three strokes ahead of Dustin Johnson and six ahead of Tiger Woods, who shot a 2-under 68, leaving him tied for 17th place.

"I thought Pebble played really difficult today," Wi said. "The greens were very firm, and the guys that shot 8 or 9 under out there, I was very surprised how well they played. Some of the pins were really tricky. I said, Gosh, how did they shoot 9 under out there?' And for me to shoot 3 under today, I was very pleased."

Wi would be the first Cal player to ever win a PGA Tour event if he can hold on to the lead.
