Hyde's status for Cardinals game to be determined late in week

SANTA CLARA – Running back Carlos Hyde’s status for the 49ers’ game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals will not be determined until after the team’s final practice of the week.

Hyde was limited in practice on Wednesday. He has missed the past two games with an injured AC joint in his right shoulder. He will meet with head athletic trainer Jeff Ferguson and team physician Tim McAdams over the weekend to determine his status.

“He’ll go through just like he did last week,” 49ers coach Chip Kelly said. “He’s in a blue jersey. He won’t get hit. He’ll go through. It’s really range of motion and Carlos’ comfort level and that decision will be made after Saturday going through training with him sitting down with Ferg and doc McAdams in terms of where he feels he is at that point in time.”

Outside linebacker Aaron Lynch and cornerback Rashard Robinson have yet to return to any practice. Lynch has a high-ankle sprain, while Robinson is nursing a knee sprain.
