SANTA CLARA -- Running back Brandon Jacobs and wide receiver Ted Ginn look doubtful for the 49ers' season opener Sunday at Green Bay after sitting out Thursday's practice.Jacobs has not practiced since sustaining a left knee sprain Aug. 18 against the Houston Texans. Ginn has been out since sustaining a right ankle sprain Aug. 26 at Denver. The 49ers figure to go with running back Kendall Hunter as Frank Gore's primary backup. Jacobs will likely take over as a short-yardage back when he returns to action.Kyle Williams will handle the punt-return chores if Ginn does not play Sunday against the Packers. Hunter would likely be the team's kick returner.
