The 49ers are reportedly scheduled to meet with Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen, a candidate to be selected with the No. 2 overall pick.
Allen has already visited with Jacksonville and Tennessee, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported. Allen flies to meet with the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday, followed by his trip to Santa Clara.
Allen (6 foot 2 5/8, 286 pounds) was voted as the winner of the Chuck Bednarik and Bronco Nagurski awards as the nation’s top defensive player.

The four-year college player recorded 22.5 sacks over his final two seasons. He recorded a career-high 69 tackles, including 16 stops behind the line of scrimmage, in his final season at Alabama.
