49ers running back Matt Breida was the latest player to get mic'd up on gameday, but it was clear he was a man of few words during Sunday's 20-7 win over the Rams. But the words he did say, he made them count.

In the beginning, you could hear the simple "Let's go," chants from Breida as he cheered on his teammates during Sunday's big win in Los Angeles.

But, as the game went on and he began to have a sense of sympathy -- just kidding -- towards the Rams, he got more vocal.

"I would hate to be on that team, knowing there's nothing you can do," Breida said.

Going up against the 49ers defense is a task many of us should be thankful we don't have to partake in.

49ers defensive lineman Arik Armstead helped the 49ers take an early lead in the second half when he recovered a key fumble, a play that helped him earn Pro Football Focus' Team of the Week honors.

"There are too many of them," Breida said referring to the 49ers' fierce defensive line. "They're too good. We've got all first-round draft picks on the D-line."

That's not a bad weapon to have on your team.

Plus, it's always nice to watch with Greg Papa's classic touchdown call. That's something 49ers fans will never get sick of listening to.
