Manny Ramirez's domestic violence charges were dropped Friday when the victim -- his wife -- was uncooperative. The MLB veteran was arrested in Florida last September for allegedly slapping Juliana Ramirez.

REWIND: Manny Ramirez arrested in Florida

"The state dropped the charge because the victim was uncooperative," the State Attorney's Office told TMZ. "She successfully avoided being served with a state subpoena and is believed to be out of state."

The details of the case aren't pretty, with each side claiming a different series of actions. Either way, the two seemed to resolve their differences, as Juliana joined Manny for his first on-field introduction with the A's in late February.

Ramirez, 39, still has to serve his 50-game suspension for a second positive drug test, and won't be available to make his debut for the A's until their May 30 contest in Minnesota.
