A's manager Bob Melvin is keeping most of his AL West-champion coaching staff intact, but the team announced one adjustment Friday; Darren Bush will take over for Rick Rodriguez as the bullpen coach.
Bush managed in the A's farm system for the past six years and led Triple-A Sacramento to back-to-back division titles the past two seasons. He has a 462-386 record in six seasons as a manager.
Bush, 38, joined the A's in 2005 as the Single-A Stockton Ports hitting coach.

Rodriguez was the A's bullpen coach in 2011 and 2012, and has been offered a minor league assignment in the A's organization.
