Bill Hall has cleared waivers and accepted his assignment to Triple-A Fresno.
Hall was signed June 11 to replace the injured Freddy Sanchez in the middle of the infield. He batted .158 (6 for 38) in 16 games with the Giants before being place on the 15-day DL with a leg laceration.

The Giants designated Hall for assignment last week to make room for Carlos Beltran on the 40-man roster.
