The Giants pulled out all the stops for free-agent slugger Aaron Judge as he visited San Francisco last week, connecting him with Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry and wining and dining the American League MVP.
Now, with Judge's signing decision reported to come during the 2022 MLB Winter Meetings, which start on Sunday, all San Francisco can do is wait.
But what are the chances Judge actually ends up with the Giants? Pretty good, it turns out.

Odds provided by our partner, PointsBet, show San Francisco currently has the best chance to sign Judge this offseason at -130, ahead of Judge's longtime team, the New York Yankees (+130), the Los Angeles Dodgers (+600) and the New York Mets (+1200).
If the Giants want to make good on those odds, they'll need to shell out plenty of cash to lure the AL home run king back to his Northern California roots.
ESPN's Jeff Passan recently reported that the Yankees have extended a contract offer to Judge "in the neighborhood" of eight years, $300 million, which would make him the highest-paid position player in MLB history based on average annual value.
With that being said, Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi has made it clear the organization has the financial capability to sign Judge. Passan also reported, however, that New York could increase its offer depending on the price set by other teams.

How far the Giants are willing to go -- or if Judge decides to leave the Bronx -- remains to be seen.
