CHICAGO -- Eduardo Nuñez is not ready to start, but the Giants believe he'll be ready to help at some point of the NLDS, so he was on the roster turned in to Major League Baseball on Friday.
There were no major surprises for the Giants. With Nuñez back, Ehire Adrianza was removed after being eligible for the Wild Card Game. Ty Blach was added to the bullpen and Steven Okert was removed. Jarrett Parker did not make the NLDS roster, with Gregor Blanco and Gorkys Hernandez serving as the backup outfielders.
While the Cubs went with 11 pitchers, the Giants opted for 12. Here they are: Blach, Bumgarner, Casilla, Cueto (Game 1 starter), Kontos, Law, Lopez, Moore, Romo, Samardzija, Smith, Strickland.

The position players for the NLDS: Posey, Brown, Belt, Crawford, Gillaspie, Nunez, Panik, Tomlinson, Blanco, Hernandez, Pagan, Pence, Span.
