Bay Area athletes react to deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas

At least 50 people were killed and more than 200 wounded when a gunman opened fire on an outdoor music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

San Francisco mayor Ed Lee, the first Asian-American mayor in the city's history, passed away at the age of 65 on Tuesday morning. 

Lee was a big sports fan, and a regular presence at championship parades and games during his six years in the mayor's office.
