The Raiders released cornerback David Amerson on Feb. 5. Less than two weeks later, Amerson has a new home and is staying in the AFC West.
Amerson, 26, has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced on Friday.

The deal is reportedly for one year, according to Terez Paylor of The Kansas City Star.
Amerson spent the past three seasons with Oakland. In 35 games with the Raiders, he recorded six interceptions and 46 pass defenses.
This past season, Amerson only played in six games, recording no interceptions, but did have four pass defenses.
