SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento Kings will officially assign second-year forward Tyler Honeycutt to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League on Thursday, Nov. 8, the team announced in a press release Wednesday.
Honeycutt finished his rookie campaign last season averaging 1.3 points (.333 FGs, .333 3FGs, .600 FTs) in 15 games off the bench for Sacramento, but has yet to see any action this season.
Honeycutt will be available to play for the Kings at home versus Detroit Wednesday, but will report to Reno by 5 p.m. on Friday. He is the first D-League assignment in the NBA this season.
