Kings guard Marcus Thornton is expected to be sidelined 1-2 weeks after a diagnostic ultrasound test revealed a significant hematoma in his left thigh.
On Saturday, Thornton left the Kings' game in Memphis early with what was characterized as a "stiff left thigh."
He did not play in the Kings' 101-89 loss at Portland on Monday night, and also missed three games on Jan. 10, 11, and 13 with what was deemed a left thigh contusion.
