Touring Kings' new Golden 1 Center
Kings prepare to open new home
While Paul McCartney will christen the Golden 1 Center on Oct. 4, the Kings will play their first game in the building on Oct. 10 against Maccabi Haifa in an preseason clash.
In addition to the Golden 1 Center's glass and aluminum skin, the exterior features several swatches of living plants growing out of the facade of the building.
Entering from the back
Fans coming from the downtown and Midtown areas can access the Golden 1 Center via walkway on 7th and K Streets.
Ready for an event
Construction workers put the final touches on the bowl of the Golden 1 Center.

Fans attending a Kings game will enjoy the spacious concourses on the lower level of the Golden 1 Center.
Massive video board
Fans will be treated to the NBA's first 4K video board that will span nearly the entire length of the court.
Fans entering at the corner of 5th and J Streets will enter to a concourse that overlooks the action on the court.
We're talking about practice
The Kings' practice facility is attached to Golden 1 Center and features two regulation courts and a private gym.
Visitor's locker room
The Kings' opponents will dress in a cozy locker room.
