HONOLULU, Hawaii Raiders tight end Zach Miller was aware of this weeks shooting in Alabama involving teammate Rolando McClain that left a bullet in the first-year middle linebackers SUV.I heard he was O.K., thats all that matters to me, Miller said this morning following the AFCs final practice, at Aloha Stadium on Ohana Day. Im sure well find out what happened but, you know, hes a good guy.Other than saying they are aware of the situation, the Raiders have no comment on the matter.--Paul Gutierrez
A published report out of Alabama indicates that Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was unharmed after the car he was driving was sprayed with bullets Thursday night.
According to The Birmingham News, McClain placed a call to the Decatur Police Department 20 minutes after officers were dispatched following a report of a potential gunshot victim.
Raiders senior executive John Herrera told Raiders Insider Paul Gutierrez that the team officially has no comment.
Officers could not locate a shooting victim according to a press release.

McClain told police he was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe past a location where a group of people were standing on the corner when an unknown individual started shooting, according to the release.
The release indicated that bullets did not penetrate the passenger compartment, but officers retrieved one bullet that struck near the rear hatch of SUV.
Detectives said theyinterviewed the passengersin McClain's car and continue to follow leads in the case.
McClain was Oakland's No. 1 pick (8th overall) in last year's NFL Draft. He was the highest drafted Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker since Derrick Thomas went 4th overall to the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1989 NFL Draft.

McClain attended Decatur High School where he played linebacker and tight end.
