With the deadline for teams to apply franchise tags on players Thursday at 1 p.m. PT, Raiders second-team All-Pro free safety Michael Huff is not so sure Oakland will utilize a tag.In a Twitter conversation Wednesday evening, Huff asked me who I thought the Raiders might tag. I Tweeted, perhaps left guard Robert Gallery, maybe Huff himself and also possibly tight end Zach Miller. Or, no one. I then asked Huff his thoughts?
I'm thinking no one, Huff replied. Zach and (Michael) Bush should be restricted (free agents) and they'll let me and gallery test the market with talks still open to return.

Huff is a fifth-year player, and depending upon the language in a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, he could be an unrestricted free agent. Miller and Bush are both fourth-year players. Gallery, meanwhile, was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2004 draft.Follow Paul on Twitter @PGutierrezCSN
