Inactives: Raiders get a boost as Amari Cooper will play in big game vs Chiefs

After missing last Sunday's game due to a concussion and an ankle sprain, Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper is back in the lineup.

Cooper cleared the concussion protocol on Wednesday and it appears his ankle has healed as the Raiders declared the third-year wideout active 90 minutes before Sunday's massive game in Kansas City.

Cooper re-joins the lineup along with Michael Crabtree, who is returning from a one-game suspension.

In the Raiders' 31-30 win over the Chiefs in Week 7, Cooper put up huge numbers, catching 11 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns.

Cooper and Crabtree will look to exploit the Chiefs' secondary that will be without cornerback Marcus Peters, who was suspended for Sunday's game due to his actions last weekend in which he threw a referee's penalty plag into the stands and left the field despite not being ejected.

The Raiders announced these seven players will be inactive Sunday: CB David Amerson, QB Connor Cook, OL Jon Feliciano, LB Cory James, DE Jihad Ward, T Jylan Ware and WR Isaac Whitney.

The Chiefs listed these seven players as inactive: CB Eric Murray, CB Marcus Peters, C Mitch Morse, QB Tyler Bray, LB Ramik Wilson,  G Parker Ehinger, DT Justin Hamilton.
