McClain back practicing with Raiders

ALAMEDA -- Rolando McClain and Dennis Allen have apparently talked and made up as the middle linebacker was on the practice field during the open media window Wednesday.

McClain had been kicked out of practice on Nov. 28 and slapped with a two-game suspension without pay by the team for "conduct detrimental" and while his suspension as technically up on Monday, he had to wait until this morning to speak with Allen, who did not return from his father's funeral in Texas until Tuesday.

After being kicked out of practice two weeks ago -- the gist of a report said Allen urged McClain to try harder in a drill and McClain said he had $4 million reasons not to try harder, which was ensued by a load of F-bombs dropped by each -- McClain took to Facebook and posted, "Officially no longer an Oakland Raider!!" he wrote, before adding, "Well technically I am. But I'm mentally done. Just waiting on my papers."

Later, he wrote, "It's out of my hands right now." Then, "I'm gonna weigh my options. Looking forward to playing for an actual 'team.'" His final post: "I'd like to be anywhere besides here."

McClain is still due three game checks totaling $171,176.47 for the last three games, a prorated portion of his $970,000 base salary for 2012. His base salary for 2013 jumps to $4.005 million in 2013, $5.805 million in 2014 and $2.665 million in 2015.

Missing from practice, though, was rookie defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi, who is sick, and strong safety Tyvon Branch, who is dealing with neck and ankle issues.

Running back Darren McFadden (ankle) and defensive tackle Richard Seymour (hamstring/knee) were both practicing.
