Despite an earlier report from the NFL Network declaring running back Darren McFadden out for Thursday night's prime time game at San Diego on the league's television station, Raiders coach Hue Jackson said nothing official has been decided yet."He's not ruled out yet," Jackson told reporters following a Tuesday afternoon practice. "Tomorrow we'll make that total determination exactly where he is."Still, it would be hard to imagine McFadden, who has not practiced since spraining his right foot in Oakland's first series against Kansas City on Oct. 23, playing on Thursday. In fact, CSN Bay Area cameras caught him still wearing a walking boot on the injured foot at the team's Alameda facility on Tuesday afternoon.Plus, Jackson acknowledged McFadden has not started running yet."Until, again, there's further progress, obviously he's not out here right now, but I know he's getting better," Jackson said. "Exactly where he is, is day-to-day right now, which means hes getting better. But how close he is to playing, I don't know that for sure."The fourth-year pro entered the Kansas City game as the NFL's leading rusher, with 610 yards, and he has nine yards of at least 20 yards -- he had 14 such runs in 2010 -- while averaging 5.4 yards per carry with four touchdowns. He also has caught 19 passes for 151 yards with a TD.McFadden has missed at least three games due to injury in each of his first three NFL seasons.
