Streater: 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, rookie, Temple
Jammer: 6-foot, 204 pounds, 11th season, Texas
Streater was just starting his freshman yearof high schoolwhen Jammer was making his NFL debut for the Chargers. So yeah, Jammer has a lot of experience on the undrafted rookie receiver from Temple who just might get that start at receiver opposite Darrius Heyward-Bey.Talk about getting an NFL baptism by fire."He's aggressive, very good with the press," Streater said. "He's got long arms, he can get his hands on you. He's pretty fast so he's got pretty good cover skills."He is something to reckon with. He's pretty good."He's more than that, obviously. Jammer, 33, is one of the most physical and sure-handed tackling cornerbacks of his era. And while he has 18 career interceptions, last season was the first time since his rookie year he did not have one.Streater, meanwhile, who caught all of 19 passes as a senior at Temple last year and led the Raiders in the preseason with 18 catches, may be able to use his perceived weakness -- his inexperience -- as his strength if and when his path crosses with Jammer. That is, he does not realize he is supposed to be intimidated."Yeah, that's what you prepare for," Streater said. "You always prepare for anything. You never know when your number's going to be called. People may look at it like I'm an undrafted free agent rookie (who) could be starting, so however they want to take it, I still got to do my job."
