ALAMEDA -- While the news that both Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since each Raiders running back suffered a high ankle sprain on Nov. 4 should have been the lead item, Rolando McClain not participating due to "team-related issues" might have trumped it.

Still, should McFadden and Goodson suit up against Cleveland on Sunday, they would give the Raiders a few more offensive weapons. They each took reps with the first-team offense."Its still an evaluation process," said Raiders coach Dennis Allen. "Well have to see how they go the rest of the week. It obviously was good to see them back out there."Making sure theyre fully healthy and able to go out there and function and do the things that they need to do to be successful out there, that will be the primary deal. Obviously theres going to be some rust. Any time you sit out for three weeks there will be some rustI dont know that it really changes a whole lot other than we have some other weapons and some good football players back."Goodson said he "definitely" plans on playing against the Browns.
"I just did what they had asked," he said of his practice regimen. "They had a special system they wanted us to go through today. We just went through that and it felt pretty good."Following, then, is the Raiders' injury report for Wednesday:Did not participate -- LB Miles Burris (illness), DE Jack Crawford (toe), LB Rolando McClain (team-related issues), DT Richard Seymour (kneehamstring).Limited participation in practice -- RB Mike Goodson (ankle), RB Taiwan Jones (ankle), RB Darren McFadden (ankle).Full participation in practice -- SS Tyvon Branch (neck), FB Marcel Reece (hamstringquadricep).
