Raiders to miss trio of Steelers stalwarts Sunday

ALAMEDA -- The Raiders will miss playing against two of Pittsburgh's defense stalwarts on Sunday as Steelers linebacker James Harrison and strong safety Troy Polamalu will not play as they continue to recover from injury.Both missed the Steelers' victory last week against the New York Jets, Harrison still dealing with the after effects of surgery on his left knee Aug. 15 and Polamalu having a hurt calf.Also, running back Rashard Mendenhall (knee) will not play for the Steelers, who have a bye week after facing the Raiders.Chris Carter is expected to start in place of Harrison while Ryan Mundy will play for Polamalu. And tight end Heath Miller (ribs) practiced Friday for the Steelers and is expected to play Sunday.
