Raiders practice notes — Boss a go

ALAMEDA -- Darren McFadden was again nowhere to be seen during the media window of Raiders practice on Thursday morning as his sprained right foot is keeping him off the field, putting his availability for Sunday's gamer against Denver in further doubt.

McFadden was seen at the Raiders facility Wednesday still on crutches and wearing a walking boot.

Also, cornerback Chris Johnson, who is being considered for season-ending Injured Reserve with his nagging hamstring and groin injuries, was not at practice.

But placekicker Sebastian Janikowski (hamstring) was operating the JUGS gun for kickoffs, rookie cornerback Chimdi Checkwa (hamstring) was working on a side field with a trainer and middle linebacker Rolando McClain (ankle) was doing agility drills by himself.

Fullback Marcel Reece (ankle) and tight end Kevin Boss (concussion) appeared to be full go.
