Raiders status report: Allen returns

Share

ALAMEDA -- Raiders coach Dennis Allen returned to the Raidersin time to run practice Wednesday, following the passing of his father Grady on Monday night. Allen initially left the team to be by his father's side in the Dallas-Fort Worth area following Sunday's loss to Cleveland.

So while Allen will be on the sidelines for Oakland's Thursday night game against Denver, the Raiders announced that Richard Seymour has been ruled out of the primetime affair with hamstring and knee issues and the defensive tackle will miss his fifth consecutive game.

Seymour, though, was the only Raiders player to be ruled out in advance of the prime time game against Denver as cornerback/punt returner Phillip Adams, who sat out Tuesday's practice having suffered a concussion Sunday, practiced limited and was listed as questionable.

Following, then, is the Raiders' Status Report for Thursday's game against Denver…
