CSNCalifornia.comSEATTLE -- Jacoby Ford, who broke his left hand on July 30 in the first padded practice of camp, got his first preseason action of the season. The receiverkick returner caught one pass for nine yards, picking up a first down on the second-and-eight play. He did not return any kicks, though.Sebastian Janikowski entered the game a perfect 7-for-7 in field goal attempts this exhibition season. He missed his first in the first quarter, shanking his 52-yard attempt wide left despite having the wind at his back and kicking into the closed end of CenturyLink Field. He later converted a 34-yarder late in the second quarter. The Raiders' first-team offense played together a a unit for three series, and scored three points. The Raiders' first-team defense played together as a unit for two series, and surrendered three points. It could have been worse for them, though, until Tyvon Branch intercepted Tarvaris Jackson in the end zone on the Seahawks' opening drive and returned it 25 yards.Trent Edwards played one first-half series at quarterback for the Raiders while Kyle Boller started the second half under center. The Seahawks converted six-of-eight third-down opportunities in the first half. Regardless of who is on the field on defense, that is not a good look for the Raiders.Even if cornerback Joe Porter is cut Saturday, he made a highlight reel play to close out the first half in blocking Jeff Reed's 53-yard field-goal attempt.Think there was some symbolism here? Two of the Seahawks' three captains for the opening coin toss were former Raiders Robert Gallery and Zach Miller.
