Receiver Chaz Schilens, whose purported potential was only matched by frustrating injuries in his Raiders tenure, has signed with the New York Jets.
The signing reunites Schilens, an Oakland seventh-round draft pick out of San Diego State in 2008, with receivers coach Sanjay Lal in Gotham.RELATED: Chaz Schilens career stats2011 game logsSplits
The 6-feet-4, 225-pound Schilens has caught 72 career passes for 902 yards with seven touchdowns in 43 career games, 19 starts. In two career games against the Jets, he had six receptions for 41 yards.
