OAKLAND -- Raiders coach Dennis Allen said this week the "plan" was for defensive tackle Richard Seymour to play in the team's pivotal third exhibition game against Detroit, despite the 12th-year veteran not practicing since last Friday's preseason game at Arizona.Plans, obviously, have changed.Seymour was one of seven "scratches," along with receivers Jacoby Ford (left foot) and Denarius Moore (right hamstring), linebacker Aaron Curry (knees), center Stefen Wisniewski (right calf) and offensive linemen Ed Wang (shoulder) and Zach Hurd (head). Seymour did not play in the exhibition opener against Dallas, either.
Plus, backup quarterback Matt Leinart (right index finger) is not listed as a scratch, but he is not in uniform, either.
