Seymour, McFadden return to practice

The Raiders practiced without coach Dennis Allen who was back in Texas for his father Grady's funeral on Monday, but a pair of injured players returned to the field.

Defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who last played on Nov. 4 due to nagging hamstring and knee issues, was back, as was running back Darren McFadden, who re-aggravated his right ankle sprain in Thursday night's 26-13 loss to Denver.

McFadden had missed the previous four games after suffering a high ankle sprain on Nov. 4.

The only Raiders player to not practice was strong safety Tyvon Branch, who is dealing with neck and ankle issues.

Offensive coordinator Greg Knapp ran practice in the absence of Allen, who is expected to return for practice on Wednesday as the Raiders (3-10) begin earnest preparations for the home finale on Sunday against Kansas City (2-11). The Raiders defeated the Chiefs, 26-16, on Oct. 28 at Arrowhead Stadium.
