In case you missed it, an incident that resulted in a fan's ejection from HP Pavilion Monday night continues to make news.

During a break in the action during the the third period of Anaheims 3-2 win over San Jose, a Sharks fan calmly walked down to the glass and tossed a dead duck onto the ice. It landed near the faceoff circle and prompted cheers from fans.

Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller briefly skated out to give the bird a look then returned to his crease.

Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau had a funny reaction when asked about it on Tuesday.

Boudreau told the Orange County Register:

"I might be the dumbest guy in the world, but I saw that, I saw that it was a duck, and I just got it," Boudreau said. "Just now. We're the Ducks. I just got it, yeah."sic"I was thinking, 'Why are they throwing a duck?' " Boudreau said. "I'm thinking ostrich. I'm thinking whatever they throw in Detroit. I'm thinking, 'Why are they throwing a duck?' And now, hey, we're the Ducks.

Here are the details of that story in case you missed it.
