SAN JOSEThe Sharks leading goal-scorer will return to the lineup vs. St. Louis tonight, as Logan Couture has apparently recovered from his lower body injury suffered on Sunday in Minnesota.

It felt good in morning skate. Obviously we didnt do any line rushes or anything like that, but it felt pretty good, said Couture, who has missed the last two games. Well see what happens when I come to the rink. Hopefully Im ready to play.

Assistant coach Jay Woodcroft was asked how having Couture available would help his team, which has just one goal in its last two games.

Hes a world class player. Hes having a great year. Any time you can add someone of his ilk back into the lineup its a positive for the team, Woodcroft said of the 27-goal scorer.

Meanwhile, Douglas Murray also looks like hes probable to return, too. Murray came off of the ice fairly early on Saturday, usually a sign that hed be in the lineup.

Eager to play. Well see, said Murray, who was awaiting clearance from team doctors on his fractured Adams apple.

Murray has missed the last eight games with the injury, and is wearing extra protection around his neck.
