Sharks winger Marty Havlat suffered an apparent left leg injury in Saturday nights 3-2 San Jose win over the Edmonton Oilers at HP Pavilion.

Havlat awkwardly stepped over the boards midway through the third period, and immediately crumpled to the ice. He managed to crawl back to the doorway and was helped to the locker room without putting any weight on the leg. According to Comcast SportsNets Brodie Brazil, Havlat was seen leaving HP Pavilion after the game with a pronounced limp and with the help of a walking stick.

Havlat opened the scoring in the first period with just his second goal of the season, converting a pass from Michal Handzus on a two-on-none rush.

Sharks coach Todd McLellan said: He got hooked up on the boards, and other than that I cant give you an update right now. Well have to do that in the morning.
