The Sharks signed college free agent forward Sebastian Stalberg Wednesday, locking him up on a two-year, entry-level contract. Per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

"Sebastian is a skilled and versatile forward that improved each and every year at the college level, Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said in a statement. Coach Kevin Sneddon and his staff at the University of Vermont have been tremendous in helping Sebastians development and we look forward to him continuing on that path with our organization.

Stalberg, 21, led the University of Vermont in goals (12), assists (19) and points (31) in 34 games as a junior.

The six-foot, 190-point Swede is the younger brother of Chicago Blackhawks forward Viktor Stalberg.
