The San Jose Sharks are starting to get noticed from coast to coast.
After completing a sweep of their weekend road trip with a pair of convincing 4-1 victories in Dallas and Colorado, the Sharks are near or at the top of several national websites' power rankings. San Jose has won three in a row, is 11-2-1 in its last 14, and owns the highest winning percentage in the NHL (.694).
In fact, after a quick scan, four of five major NHL media outlets that submit power rankings have them as the top team in the NHL. The only holdout is Canadas TSN, which has them at third behind Boston and Pittsburgh two teams the Sharks defeated already this year.
