Two suspects have been arrested in the Opening Day beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

Primary suspect Giovanni Ramirez has been exonerated, according to the newspaper.
The L.A. Times spoke with Ramirez's attorney, Anthony Brooklier, about the development.
"I havent heard anything about the new arrests yet, Anthony Brooklier told the newspaper. But if its true Im happy for my client. I always believed he was factually innocent. There was a lot of pressure on LAPD. I believe that they were operating in good faith and made a good faith mistake.
"What we did was we followed hundreds, of thousands of leads in a case that was very difficult for us,'' Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa told reporters at Costello Park in Boyle Heights Thursday night. "There were general descriptions of the assailants but not nearly enough in the way of eyewitnesses that could connect that person to the incident. So the person that was arrested was arrested one, because he had a warrant and two, during the course of that investigation there was some cause to believe that he was connected to the crime.''

Stow, 42, of Santa Cruz was beaten after the March 31 season opener and suffered a severe skull fracture.
On Monday morning, Stow underwent emergency surgery Monday morning after fluid buildup caused a 30-second seizure, the family reported on their website.

Stow's doctor "removed the bone flap that was put in on Friday and he found some sort of growth he had never seen before. The growth was removed and a filter put in to help drain the fluid from his head," the family published.
