Warriors hire five more coaches to fill staff

The Warriors hired Pete Myers, Wes Unseld Jr. and Jerry DeGregorio as assistant coaches, and Darren Erman and Kris Weems as assistant coachesplayer development, the team announced in a press release Thursday.

The five new coaches will join lead assistant Michael Malone, rounding out new head coach Mark Jackson's staff.

Myers has been an assistant coach and scout for the Bulls for the past 12 years. He played 377 regular-season games over nine seasons.

Unseld spent the past 13 seasons with the Wizards, the past six coming as an assistant coach.

DeGregorio has coached as an assistant in the NBA and as a head coach in NCAA Division I, Divisoin II, junior college, and high school.

Erman spent the last four seasons as a coaching assistant with the Celtics.

Weems played at Stanford and sergved as the head varsity basketball coach at Menlo School in Atherton, CA.
