OAKLAND -- Steve Kerr said he doesn’t believe it’s serious, and Omri Casspi agreed.
It’s never a good look when a player limps off the court, but the general sense in the Warriors locker room Friday night is that the right ankle sprain Casspi sustained in the second quarter of a 117-106 win over the Kings is of little concern.
“I think it’s a mild sprain,” Kerr said.

“I don’t think it’s too bad,” Casspi told NBC Sports Bay Area. “We’ll see (Saturday). It’s usually 24-to-48 hours before you know for sure.”
Casspi rolled his ankle early in the second quarter on a non-contact play while moving about on defense and getting into rebounding position. He immediately dropped to the floor clutching his ankle before leaving the floor for good with 10:28 left in the half.
“It was weird,” he said. “It felt like maybe the floor was a little wet. I just tweaked it.”
Casspi played only five minutes, totaling 2 points and one assist, before being forced to the sideline.
