Durant becoming more aggressive as he acclimates to Warriors

SAN JOSE – Kevin Durant’s third preseason game with the Warriors was not dramatically different from his second. He made a positive impact at both ends of the court.

Starting at small forward and playing 26 minutes, Durant totaled a game-high 25 points and five rebounds in a 105-96 victory over the Sacramento Kings Thursday night at SAP Center.

Durant continues to increase his aggressiveness on offense as he becomes more comfortable with his teammates. His first bucket, 71 seconds into the game, came on a rolling reverse dunk on a bullet pass from Draymond Green. Durant scored at various times from various locations, mostly beyond the arc – in transition and simply pulling up – but also on the block.

Durant’s complete stat line for his third preseason game: 25 points (8-of-11 from the field, 4-of-6 from 3-point distance, 5-of-5 from the line), five rebounds, two blocks, one assist and three turnovers.
