The Warriors built and lost double-digit leads on 11 occasions before putting this one away for good in the final four minutes.
After two Karl-Anthony Towns free throws pulled the Timberwolves within six 117-111, with 4:28 to play, the Warriors closed it by outscoring Minnesota 9-3 over the remainder of the game.
The Warriors limited the Timberwolves to 7-of-22 shooting (31.8 percent) in the fourth quarter.
