For the first time ever, the Warriors and Blazers play each other in the postseason.
Klay starts hot
Without Stephen Curry, Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson came out on fire in Game 1. In the first quarter, he made four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points in the period. The Warriors lead 37-17 after the first 12 minutes.
Dame back home
Oakland-native Damian Lillard scored five points in the first quarter of his first playoff game in his hometown.
Andrew Bogut flies in for two of his four first-quarter points.
The Warriors held the Blazers to 39 percent shooting in the first half, picked up six steals and blocked four shots.
Draymond Green was at the center of the action in the first half. He finished the first 24 minutes with 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists. The Warriors carried a 65-51 lead into the locker room.

Two double techs
In the third quarter, Anderson Varejao and Gerald Henderson got tangled up and got in each others face. They were assessed double technical fouls. Minutes later, Henderson started talking to Varejao on the Warriors bench, which led to a second set of technical fouls. Both were ejected and got to take early showers.
Lead built back up
After holding a 14-point lead at halftime, the Warriors pushed the margin back up to 20 after three quarters, taking a 93-73 lead into the fourth.
With 3:32 left in the game, Draymond Green picked up his 10th assist to go along with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Warriors take Game 1
Draymond Green and Klay Thompson combined for 60 points in the Warriors 118-106 win over the Blazers in Game 1 on Sunday in Oakland.
