Calm before the storm
The Warriors get ready to take on the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals.
Recording artist Rihanna made an appearance courtside at Oracle to watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Tristan Thompson grabbed seven rebounds in the first quarter and the Cavaliers outworked the Warriors on the glass to lead 29-19 over Golden State after the first quarter. .
Stephen Curry scored 10 points in the second quarter to help the Warriors get back in the game -- Golden State trailed 51-48 entering halftime.
The Cavaliers were up at half in large part because of LeBron James. The four-time MVP scored 19 points in the first half to lead the Cleveland.
All tied up
Kyrie Irving gave the Cavaliers a boost in the third quarter and had 15 points entering the fourth, but the Warriors had an answer as the game was tied at 73 after three quarters.
Klay fires back
LeBron James was starting to take over the fourth quarter and the Cavaliers led 91-87 with just over five minutes to play, but Klay Thompson hit a big three and scored seven points down the stretch to prevent the Cavaliers from pulling away.
Kyrie Irving blocked a layup attempt from Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala forced LeBron James into a last-second miss sending Game 1 of the NBA Finals into overtime.
Small ball taking over
The Warriors used their small ball lineup for the first time all game in overtime and outscored the Cavs 10-2 in the final five minutes. Cleveland shot 1-10 from the field and had three turnovers as the Warriors pulled away and won 108-100.
Andre steps up
Andre Iguodala scored 15 points off of the bench and made LeBron James work for every basket helping the Warriors get the victory.
