LiAngelo Ball among six draft prospects to work out for Warriors on Friday

After weeks of speculation and reports that former UCLA guard LiAngelo Ball would work out for the Warriors, the team made it official on Thursday.

Ball, who left UCLA and played professionally in Lithuania, is one of six players scheduled to be in Oakland on Friday.

Joining Ball will be Bucknell center Nana Foulland, West Virginia shooting guard Daxter Miles Jr., University of Chicago at Illinois/Canarias (Spain) center Tai Odiase, Baylor power forward Nuni Omot and Michigan power forward Duncan Robinson.

The 19-year-old Ball was arrested in China for shoplifting in November while on a team trip with UCLA. Following his release from custody, the school suspended him and in December, he left UCLA to go play in Lithuania with his younger brother LaMelo.

The Warriors own the No. 28 overall pick in next Thursday's NBA Draft. They do not own a second round pick, but have bought a second-round pick each of the last two seasons.
