OAKLAND -- Warriors center Zaza Pachulia sustained a contusion to his right heel in the first quarter of a 136-100 victory over the Spurs in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals Tuesday night and did not return.
Though X-rays performed to determine the extent of the injury revealed nothing further, Pachulia on Wednesday will undergo an MRI examination to get a closer look before the Warriors leave Thursday for San Antonio.
He played seven minutes, contributing 4 points, two assists and one rebound before exiting the game, replaced by JaVale McGee, with 5:06 left in the first quarter.
