Report: Dwyane Wade nearing agreement with Cavs

It appears LeBron James is about to be reunited with a former teammate.

Dwyane Wade is nearing agreement on a deal with the Cavaliers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wade reportedly agreed to a buyout with the Bulls on Monday, and is expected to clear waivers on Wednesday.

He will become an unrestricted free agent.

The Cavs have 15 players with guaranteed contracts, so they will have to make a move to get Wade on board.

According to Joe Vardon of cleveland.com:

"The Cavs would likely pay Wade the veteran's minimum -- about $2.3 million -- instead of the $2.55 million left under the mid-level exception to the salary cap because of tax purposes."

LeBron and Wade won two championships (2012 and 2013) together with the Heat.
