Just two days before the 2017 NBA Draft, former Warriors executive Travis Schlenk has made his first trade.

Center Dwight Howard is headed to Charlotte, according to multiple national reports.

Atlanta will reportedly send Howard and the No. 31 pick to the Hornets for center Miles Plumlee, guard Marco Belinelli and the No. 41 pick.

Howard signed a three-year, $70.5 million deal with Atlanta last summer. In his one season with the Hawks, Howard averaged 13.5 points and 12.7 rebounds per game.

Belinelli, the former Warrior and King, was acquired from Sacramento prior to the 2016 NBA Draft for the No. 22 pick, which the Kings used to select Malachi Richardson.

The trade between the Hawks and Hornets comes roughly eight hours after the two teams engaged in a Twitter thread poking fun at all the trade rumors swirling.

News of the reported agreement was first reported by ESPN. Terms of the deal were confirmed by The Vertical.
