Seems apparent depth an issue for Warriors

OAKLAND Sitting courtside before Saturdays exhibition season opener between the Warriors and Kings at Oracle Arena, onething is standing out: Sacramento has more depth than Golden State.Lookingdown at the Warriors end of the court, you see a starting five of StephenCurry, Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright, David Lee and Andris Biedrins. But afterthat, you see a roster littered with question marks. The teamsfirst two players off the bench are likely to be rookie Klay Thompson andcenter Kwame Brown. Asking each of those players to be consistent over thecourse of a season might be asking a lot.
After youget past the seventh man on Golden State, youre looking at Ekpe Udoh, LouAmundson, Ish Smith, Charles Jenkins and Dominic McGuire. As for theKings, theyve got DeMarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans, Marcus Thornton, JohnSalmons, Jason Thompson and Chuck Hayes (out with heart condition). Inaddition, the Kings have Francisco Garcia, Donte Greene, J.J. Hickson andTravis Outlaw. Plus, dont forget Jimmer Fredette. In otherwords, preseason Game No. 1 hasnt even started yet, but its not too early tosay that overcoming a thin roster is going to be a big challenge for new coachMark Jackson and his staff.
