BOX SCORE

Player of the game: On a night when most players struggled, Kobe Bryant was the best player on the floor by far. Bryant finished with 27 pointson 10-for-18 shootingnine rebounds and seven assists.
Key stretch: Midway through the third period, the Warriors trailed just 54-50, and the Lakers werent exactly looking like world-beaters. But Bryant led the Lakers on a 10-0 run that set them up with their biggest lead of the night. Bryant had four points and an assist during the run, and the Warriors went three-plus minutes without a score. The Warriors are now 2-25 all-time at Staples Center against the Lakers.Shooting woes: The Warriors struggled from the field in the first half, and it was widespread. Then they promptly did the same thing in the second half. The Warriors didnt have a single player on their roster playing significant minutes who made more than half of their shots, and here were some of the brutal numbers: Stephen Curry 6-for-16; Klay Thompson 6-for-16; David Lee 3-for-10; Carl Landry 3-for-12.The Warriors shot just 33.7 percent from the field over the course of the game, including 7-for-25 (28 percent) from 3-point range.Filling the Bogut void: With Andrew Bogut missing the next week or so, Warriors coach Mark Jackson is going to have to fill his spot at center. On Friday, Festus Ezeli got the start and Andris Biedrins saw plenty of playing time.Well, plenty for him. Biedrins, who had played seven total minutes in the Warriors first five games, played seven minutes in the first half and didnt do a bad job.Biedrins held his own defensively against Howard and found time to grab four rebounds. Biedrins did have to shoot a couple of foul shots, however, missing both, including one airball.Biedrins played nine minutes on the night, while Ezeli played 20. For most of the game's remainder the Warriors went small with Lee and Landry.Mike Brown fallout: Mark Jackson was asked before the game who he thought would replace Mike Brown, who was fired earlier in the day. There have been plenty of names bandied about, including Phil Jackson, Jerry Sloan, Mike DAntoni and Brian Shaw, among others.Doesnt matter to me, Mark Jackson said. Ive got my hands full with this Jackson doing this job.
