Tony Allen has spoken.

The Memphis Grizzlies guard took to social media to voice his opinion on the Zaza Pachulia-Gregg Popovich-Kawhi Leonard situation.

"He's a rough and rugged player," Allen said of Zaza through Uninterrupted. "Those type of things happen. I think he's not a dirty player, although some may think that because of how rough and physical he plays.

"It looked like a solid closeout to me."

Kawhi left the game for good at the 7:53 mark of the third quarter and the Spurs up 23 points. He had tweaked the ankle a couple minutes prior.

He originally sprained his left ankle in Game 5 against the Rockets on May 9, and missed Game 6 on May 11.

"Pop (Popovich) -- or let's just say the world -- kind of thought it was dirty, but I thought Kawhi should have probably sat out the game," Allen declared. "They were up 20. He probably should have got treatment on his ankle and just prepare for the next game..."

The Spurs beat the Grizzlies in six games in the opening round of the playoffs.

Allen missed the series because of a calf injury.
