This is the time when Warriors guard Stephen Curry should be testing his right ankle, the one he had surgery on in late May.But Curry is also going to be taking tests.According to Davidson University, Curry was one of approximately 2,000 students who were back on campus last week, starting the 2011-12 academic school year. Ordinarily, Curry would be working out in preparation for the Warriors' training camp to begin in late September.
But the NBA lockout --now two months old -- has afforded him a little extra time and he's using it to work on getting his Sociology degree. Curry left Davidson after his junior season to enter the NBA draft, and he remains five courses short of graduating.Curry was hampered by a gimpy right ankle for most of the 2010-11 season, although the injury forced him to miss only eight games. He had surgery on May 25 to strengthen it, and about three weeks ago Curry was given the go-ahead to step up his rehabilitation and participate in on-court work.
